National Marquette Day Pep Rally moved to Al McGuire Center due to weather

February 6, 2019

Due to inclement weather, this year’s National Marquette Day Pep Rally will now take place inside the Al McGuire Center (instead of Parking Lot D).

Marquette fans are encouraged to attend the Women’s Basketball game vs. Georgetown tomorrow night, Friday, Feb. 8, at the Al McGuire Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

In celebration of National Marquette Day, general admission to the women’s basketball game is free. Marquette students can scan their student ID to get in; alumni and fans can obtain their free ticket at the door. Limited, reserved chair-back seating may be available for purchase; contact the Marquette Ticket Office at (414) 288-GOMU or athletics@marquette.edu with questions or to purchase.

The first 500 fans through the door will receive a voucher for a free National Marquette Day t-shirt, which will be distributed at half time. Complimentary hot chocolate and s’more bars will be available before the game until supplies last. Marquette alumna and TV personality Rachel Lindsay will help cheer on the number eight-ranked Golden Eagles as the women’s basketball team takes on Georgetown.
