New eProcurement solution selected

October 1, 2018

After careful consideration, Marquette has selected an eProcurement solution called Coupa, which will improve the Marquette purchasing process for select employees who perform regular purchasing activities by offering a web shopping experience for users and creating a purchase history to increase efficiencies with future purchases. The project will connect MyJob with supplier catalogs and provide more options for suppliers to invoice Marquette electronically. The result will be a much-improved buyer experience where purchases are made using an end-to-end procurement system that connects suppliers to Marquette, as well as a more efficient invoice entry and approval process.

The selection and implementation of an eProcurement tool helps fulfill the Beyond Boundaries strategic plan theme, Sustainability of Valuable Resources. Implementation is targeted for early 2019. Watch Marquette Today for continuing updates in the coming months.
