DePaul philosophy professor to give talk April 20

Bill Martin, professor of Philosophy at DePaul University, will present  “Emptiness: From Plato to Buddha to Paul,” on Friday, April 20, from 3 p.m. 4:30 p.m. in AMU 254.

Martin’s academic work concerns Derrida, Sartre, Marxist theory, Aesthetics, and critiques of Richard Rorty. He has also written on progressive rock bands. There will be catered snacks and beverages at the event. All are welcome to attend and registration is not required.
