Children’s Hospital president and CEO Troy goes ‘On the Issues’ at Marquette Law School

April 13, 2017

Peggy Troy, the president and chief executive officer of Children’s Hospital and Health System, will be the featured guest in an upcoming “On the Issues with Mike Gousha,” Thursday, April 20, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall. Troy will discuss her health system’s vision, jarring health disparities in the city of Milwaukee, developments surrounding the nation’s health care law, and alternatives to the way health care is delivered today.

While Troy was a student in Marquette’s College of Nursing, she served as a nurse intern at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and has been involved in pediatric medicine ever since. Today, Troy leads a billion-dollar health system that is dedicated to children and employs nearly 5,000 people throughout the state. While Children’s is best known for its treatment of sick kids, its mission is much larger.
