Marquette’s IT Services department will be performing network upgrades beginning today, Friday, June 24, at 7 p.m. and continuing through 2 a.m. Saturday. During these upgrades, the Marquette University Police Department and Student Safety Programs (including LIMO service) will be operating normally, but with limited phone resources.
MUPD and SSP will answer calls as they are received. All emergency calls to MUPD should be made to (414) 288-1911 and all other requests should be made to (414) 288-6800. All calls to SSP should be made to (414) 288-6363. Please continue to call MUPD and SSP if your call is not immediately received.
In the event of a campus safety alert, the IT upgrades will not affect MUPD’s ability to send a text alert. A temporary outage may prevent MUPD from sending a campus-wide email after a text alert is issued, in which case more information will be posted on MUPD’s Twitter account, @MarquettePD, and at the following site: http://today.marquette.edu/safety-alerts/.
We appreciate your patience during these upgrades.
